Job description

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to manage day-to-day warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring goods are stored, processed, and dispatched accurately and on time.

The role will be responsible for ground-level execution, including warehouse space utilization, inventory accuracy, vehicle and route planning, shipment tracking, and coordination with carriers and 3PL partners. The position will work closely with Planning, Sales, and Customer teams to achieve cost, safety, productivity, and delivery KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

• Manage daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure optimal warehouse space utilization as per the agreed layout.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Ensure smooth and efficient warehouse processes to meet daily operational targets.

2. Transportation & Logistics

• Manage the complete daily order cycle, including route and vehicle planning.
• Coordinate with transporters, carriers, and 3PL partners for timely execution.
• Monitor shipment movement and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Drive achievement of on‑time dispatch and fill‑rate targets.
• Resolve day‑to‑day transportation and delivery issues.

3. Cost & Performance Management

• Monitor freight costs and logistics cost per unit.
• Track delivery, dispatch, productivity, and operational KPIs.
• Analyze operational data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce logistics costs.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to warehouse health and safety (OHS) standards.
• Ensure compliance with transport documentation requirements.
• Maintain adherence to ISO, statutory, and company‑specific logistics requirements.
• Promote a strong safety and compliance culture across warehouse and transportation operations.

5. Team & Stakeholder Management

• Supervise warehouse, transport, and 3PL teams during daily operations.
• Allocate manpower and monitor team productivity.
• Coordinate with Planning, Sales, and Customer Service teams to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure effective communication and resolution of operational issues.
• Build strong working relationships with carriers, vendors, and 3PL partners.
