Job summary

GatiHire is hiring for a Fleet Operations role in Manesar. You will manage and oversee the company’s fleet operations and daily vehicle movement to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

Responsibilities include planning vehicle deployment, route allocation and load utilization, monitoring vehicle availability and fuel costs, coordinating with drivers, transporters and operations teams, and maintaining fleet compliance. 2–5 years required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of fleet management experience.

About The Role

Roles & Responsibilities Manage and oversee the company’s entire fleet operations and daily vehicle movement. Plan vehicle deployment, route allocation, and load utilization as per business requirements. Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, and turnaround time (TAT). Coordinate with drivers, transporters, vendors, and operations teams for smooth fleet movement. Track vehicle movement and ensure timely pickup and delivery. Manage vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs, fitness, insurance, permits, and other compliance requirements. Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and control overall fleet operating costs. Handle driver allocation, attendance, performance, and operational issues. Ensure proper documentation such as RC, insurance, permits, PUC, challans, etc. Monitor breakdowns and coordinate with the concerned teams for quick resolution. Maintain fleet-related MIS and prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports. Monitor GPS tracking and take corrective action in case of delays or route deviations. Coordinate with accounts for fuel expenses, vendor payments, and other fleet-related costs. Ensure compliance with safety, transport, and company policies. Identify operational gaps and implement measures to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
