Job summary

Anveshan in Gurugram seeks a logistics professional to lead site control tower operations and end-to-end warehouse processes. You will oversee inbound planning, stock coverage, pallet discipline, and 3PL performance to ensure 100% on-time dispatch and optimal space utilization.

You will own safety and compliance standards, drive standard operating procedures, coach the team, and coordinate with cross-functional groups to meet customer SLAs and continuous improvement goals.

Responsibilities

• Site Control Tower: manage daily rhythm including morning inbound plan, order load, manpower, and end-of-day closure with no invoiced boxes and no open variances.
• Hold weekly reviews with Head of Operations on KPIs, exceptions and actions.
• Act as first escalation point for blocks on orders or vehicles.
• Inbound & Supply Coordination: align inbound plan from Manesar facility and 3P manufacturers with dock and rack capacity.
• Coordinate with demand and supply planning to keep stock cover aligned with channel demand; flag stock-out/overstock/near-expiry risks early.
• Prepare new SKUs and launches at JWL: PALL-SKU codes, stacking config, rack locations and pick-zone thresholds.
• Inventory Control & Pallet Discipline: maintain variance at 0.5% or less via daily cycle counts and monthly full counts; enforce pallet discipline and FEFO across racks.
• Own decisions on damaged, near-expiry and hold stock, ensuring clearance on time.
• Order Fulfilment & Customer SLAs: deliver 100% fill rate and on-time dispatch for B2B orders and courier shipments; manage appointment calendar and transporter performance.
• Own root cause and corrective action for every short, wrong or late dispatch.
• 3PL Partner Management: manage JWL space, manpower, MHE and service levels with monthly reviews; validate billing against activity; reduce cost per box through layout and productivity.
• Systems, SOPs & Team: drive FilFlo adoption at site, keep SOPs current for training and audits; lead, coach and roster executives with trained backups.
• Compliance & Safety: maintain 100% compliance with FSSAI storage/hygiene, pest control, fire and MHE safety norms; keep site audit-ready.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (KRAS)

1. Site Control Tower

• Run the daily rhythm: morning plan (inbound vehicles, order load, manpower), daily captain reviews on stage scorecards, and end-of-day closure with no invoiced boxes on the floor and no open variances.
• Hold a weekly review with the Head of Operations on KPIs, exceptions and actions.
• Act as first point of escalation for anything that blocks an order or a vehicle.

2. Inbound & Supply Coordination

• Align the inbound plan from the Manesar facility and 3P manufacturers with JWL dock and rack capacity.
• Work with Anveshan's demand and supply planning to keep JWL stock cover in line with channel demand. Flag stock-out, overstock and near-expiry risks early.
• Make new SKUs and launches ready at JWL before first dispatch: PALL- SKU codes, stacking configuration, rack locations and pick-zone thresholds.

3. Inventory Control & Pallet Discipline

• Hold inventory variance at 0.5% or less through daily cycle counts, a monthly full count and root-cause closure.
• Enforce pallet discipline: single-batch pallets, every movement scanned, pallets opened only by the Anveshan dispatch team, FEFO across racks and pick zone.
• Own decisions on damaged, near-expiry and hold stock, and get it cleared on time.

4. Order Fulfilment & Customer SLAs

• Deliver 100% fill rate and on-time dispatch across B2B purchase orders and courier shipments.
• Manage the appointment calendar, vehicle planning and courier and transporter performance.
• Own root cause and corrective action for every short, wrong or late dispatch.

5. 3PL Partner Management

• Manage JWL on space, manpower, MHE and service levels, with a monthly performance review.
• Validate JWL's monthly billing against actual storage and handling activity.
• Reduce cost per box through layout, slotting and manpower productivity.

6. Systems, SOPs & Team

• Own FilFlo adoption at the site: user roles, 100% scan compliance and no off-system movement. Work with the FilFlo team on process and feature changes.
• Keep the SOP for each stage current and use it for training and audits.
• Lead, coach and roster the executives, and keep a trained backup for every stage.

7. Compliance & Safety

• Maintain 100% compliance with FSSAI storage and hygiene requirements, pest control, and fire and MHE safety norms, and keep the site audit-ready.
