Job summary

ConveGenius is seeking an experienced Operations professional to own end-to-end field operations for digital learning projects across multiple Indian states and districts. You will lead a team of operations associates and field coordinators, manage vendors, and ensure timely delivery with strict budgets and quality standards.

You will engage with school authorities, government officials, and partner agencies to drive planning, process design, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. A postgraduate qualification in Operations, Supply Chain, or Management is an added advantage.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in operations, logistics, and project management, with demonstrated ownership of multi-location or multi-project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of field operations for digital learning labs in government and private schools across India.
• Build and track rollout plans covering timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, and hold accountability for on-time delivery.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Operations Associates and field coordinators, allocating territories, setting goals, and reviewing performance.
• Identify, onboard, and manage vendors for hardware, infrastructure, accessories, printing, paper, and packaging, including rate negotiation and SLA-based performance management.
• Oversee logistics and inventory planning, including dispatch scheduling, warehousing, and state-wise, district-wise, and block-wise alignment and reconciliation.

An experienced operations professional responsible for owning end-to-end field operations for digital learning projects across multiple states and districts. Leads a team of operations associates and field coordinators, manages the vendor and logistics ecosystem, and holds accountability for project timelines, quality standards, and budgets. Drives planning, process design, and reporting, while engaging school authorities, government officials, and partner agencies to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of field operations for digital learning labs in government and private schools across India.
• Build and track rollout plans covering timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, and hold accountability for on-time delivery.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Operations Associates and field coordinators, allocating territories, setting goals, and reviewing performance.
• Identify, onboard, and manage vendors for hardware, infrastructure, accessories, printing, paper, and packaging, including rate negotiation and SLA-based performance management.
• Oversee logistics and inventory planning, including dispatch scheduling, warehousing, and state-wise, district-wise, and block-wise alignment and reconciliation.
• Manage the operations budget for assigned projects, control costs, and validate vendor invoices and reconciliations in coordination with Finance.
• Oversee on-ground coordination with school authorities and internal teams, ensuring smooth installation, configuration, and readiness of digital labs.
• Ensure site assessments and pre-deployment checks for all lab components (electrical setup, furniture, networking, printing) meet required standards, and conduct periodic quality audits.
• Design, standardize, and continuously improve documentation, checklists, and operational SOPs for lab readiness and field processes, and drive adoption across geographies.
• Prepare and present lab readiness and project performance reports to leadership, highlighting installation status, gaps, risks, and action recommendations.
• Act as the primary operations point of contact for external agencies, partner organizations, and district and state officials for large-scale implementation across multiple districts and states.
• Own the ticketing and escalation process for hardware, connectivity, and operational issues, monitoring resolution turnaround times and driving root‑cause fixes.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, operational standards, and client and government reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. A postgraduate qualification in Operations, Supply Chain, or Management is an added advantage.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in operations, logistics, and project management, with demonstrated ownership of multi-location or multi-project delivery.

Must-have skills:

• Prior experience managing a small team or leading field coordinators is strongly preferred.
• Proven vendor management experience, including negotiation, SLA tracking, and performance reviews.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and project management skills, with experience in budget and cost tracking.
• Strong communication skills in both Hindi and English, with the ability to engage government officials and senior external stakeholders.
• Ability to connect and coordinate effectively with diverse Internal & External teams.
• Capable of working under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, multi‑Project environment while meeting timelines independently.
• Flexible, proactive, and responsive to dynamic organizational needs.
• Willingness to travel across project locations as required.
• Prior experience in a start‑up or fast-moving operational environment is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with project management or ticketing tools is a plus.
