Job summary

ConveGenius is building scalable public-education platforms in India and is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, implement and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will automate deployments, manage IAM and SCP policies, and support container orchestration with EKS.

The role emphasizes IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), GitLab CI/CD, and scripting, with exposure to GenAI workflows a plus. Join a mission-driven team expanding impact across Bharat.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS security and IAM controls.
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Proficient in GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash; infrastructure automation focus.
• Familiarity with data engineering/GenAI workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Configure VPCs, subnets, security groups, and access controls.
• Build and maintain centralized AWS Organization and SCPs.
• Automate SCP changes with CloudFormation and related tooling.
• Deploy and manage EKS clusters; support CI/CD/automation pipelines.

• Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable cloud Infrastructure solutions on AWS
• Configure secure and performant AWS networks, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network
• access controls (NACs).
• Design and implement an AWS Organization structure to manage multiple accounts centrally.
• Design and implement Service Control Policies (SCPs) to enforce security best practices across all
• accounts. Automate SCP restructuring and updates using tools like CloudFormation
• S3 bucket policies and IAM Conditional policies implementations
• Contribute to the deployment and management of Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) clusters.
• Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration Management
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.

Must-have skills:

• AWS Organisation & Accounts, Security (IAM)
• IAC(Terraform/Cloudformation)
• CI/CD - Gitlab
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with data engineering and GenAI workflows is a plus
• Good in troubleshooting
