Job summary

ConveGenius is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to build and maintain scalable web applications for Bharat's education platform. You will translate product needs into robust UI features and own end-to-end delivery from design to deployment, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

The role focuses on performance optimization, modern web frameworks, and contributing to engineering standards while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Proven track record of delivering user-facing web products at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, performant web applications across the product suite.
• Translate product requirements and design specifications into clean, reusable front-end code.
• Own end-to-end delivery of web features, from technical design through deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate with backend services and contribute to API contracts and data flows.
• Optimise web performance, including Core Web Vitals and bundle sizes.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to scope, sequence and ship work.
• Debug and resolve production issues, improving observability and error tracking.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.

Qualifications:

Must-have skills:

• Modern Web Frameworks – Hands-on experience with React, Angular, Vue or a comparable framework.
• HTML5 / CSS3 – Semantic markup, responsive layouts and modern CSS techniques.
• API Integration – Consuming and debugging REST and GraphQL services.
• Performance Optimisation – Bundle size, rendering, caching strategies and Core Web Vitals.
• Version Control & CI/CD – Git-based workflows and automated build and release pipelines.
• Collaboration & Ownership – Working effectively with product, design and backend teams end
