Job summary

Lenskart in India is seeking a senior manufacturing leader to drive end-to-end plant performance in Rajasthan. You will lead shop-floor teams to maximize output, quality, productivity and on-time delivery while championing Lean practices.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Stores, and a relentless focus on data-driven decision making to optimize line performance.

Qualifications

• 10-18 years hands-on experience in Manufacturing / Production Operations.
• Strong shop-floor leadership and process control experience.
• Experience in metal processing, precision manufacturing, automotive, consumer durables or similar industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of RCA, FPY, OEE, Line Balancing, Productivity & Capacity Planning.
• Experience in Fitting, Painting, Polishing, Tumbling or similar processes will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• High ownership, execution orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Manufacturing operations.
• Drive daily production to achieve Output, Quality, Productivity & Delivery targets.
• Manage shop-floor operations, manpower deployment and production planning.
• Monitor and improve FPY, OEE, productivity, rejection, rework, downtime & cycle time.
• Drive RCA, CAPA, process improvement and bottleneck reduction.
• Lead line balancing, capacity improvement and manpower optimization initiatives.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and Continuous Improvement.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, process parameters, quality and safety standards.
• Lead supervisors and operators and build a culture of ownership, accountability and execution.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Stores teams.
• Drive shop-floor performance through MIS, KPIs and data-driven decision making.
