Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing & Production: Plan and oversee daily production schedules, optimize workflow, manage labor, and enforce HSE standards.
• Purchase & Supply Chain: Source and negotiate rates for industrial materials, manage vendor relationships, maintain inventory levels.
• Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate safe, cost-effective transport of units from factory to client sites, manage dispatch schedules.
• Site Execution: Oversee installation at customer sites, coordinate labor, ensure safety and schedule compliance.
• Quality & Compliance: Drive QA checks across fabrication and finishing to meet tolerances and client requirements.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take complete ownership of our manufacturing plant, supply chain purchasing, dispatch logistics, and site installation execution. You will streamline shop-floor productivity, maintain strict quality control, optimize material procurement, and ensure timely project handovers at client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing & Production: Plan and oversee daily production schedules, optimize workflow efficiency, manage labor deployment, and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Purchase & Supply Chain: Source and negotiate rates for industrial raw materials (structural steel, sheets, insulation, hardware), manage vendor relationships, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate safe and cost-effective transport of manufactured units from the factory to client sites, managing transit documentation and dispatch schedules.
• Site Execution: Oversee installation, coordination, and labor management at customer sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
• Quality & Compliance: Drive quality assurance checks across fabrication and finishing stages, ensuring adherence to design tolerances and client requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing plant operations, fabrication shop floors, or project execution.
• Skills: Strong vendor negotiation skills, working knowledge of structural/sheet metal fabrication, basic safety compliance, and local logistics management.
