Job summary

Premier Consultants in Gujarat is seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Engineer (O&M Engineer) to oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of ground-mounted solar power plants. You will work on PV systems, electrical infrastructure, SCADA monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 2+ years of Solar Plant O&M experience, and mandates ground-mounted plant expertise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Solar Plant O&M.
• Solar Ground-Mounted Plant experience mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Solar PV systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with SCADA, plant monitoring and performance analytics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and project management skills.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / E&T C / Electronics or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ground-mounted solar power plants for optimal performance.
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of PV modules, inverters and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to solar panels, tracking systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Monitor and analyze plant performance through SCADA systems and monitoring tools.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Develop strategies to improve plant efficiency and reduce energy losses.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials and technical services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Prepare daily, monthly and technical performance reports.
