Job summary

Sarvodaya Hospital in Faridabad, Haryana is seeking an experienced Operation Theatre Manager to oversee daily OT operations, scheduling, workflow and emergency procedures.

You will ensure compliance with OT policies, SOPs, infection control and sterilization standards, while maintaining OT readiness and high-quality patient care. The role also involves budgeting support, staff supervision, and coordination with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily OT operations, scheduling, workflow, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure strict compliance with OT policies, SOPs, infection control, safety, aseptic and sterilization protocols.
• Oversee pre-operative and post-operative patient care standards and OT readiness.
• Monitor OT utilization, surgeon/specialty performance, quality indicators, and operational MIS.
• Manage OT staff including duty rosters, attendance, leave, performance, coaching, and discipline.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, ICU, bed management, biomedical, stores, and other stakeholders.
• Manage OT equipment, maintenance, PPM, calibration, inventory, and consumables with optimum utilization.
• Support annual operational/capital budgets and procurement requirements.
• Develop and standardize OT SOPs, manuals, processes, logbooks, and documentation.
• Ensure continuous quality improvement and adherence to hospital/NABH standards.
