Responsibilities

• Prepare the operation theatre before surgical procedures, including instruments, equipment, and required supplies.
• Maintain sterilization and infection-control protocols in the OT.
• Arrange and check surgical instruments, implants, consumables, and other OT materials.
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
• Monitor and maintain OT inventory and inform the concerned department when supplies need replenishment.
• Coordinate with the nursing, housekeeping, CSSD, and other departments for smooth OT operations.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and support the surgical team as required.
