Job summary

Talworx Solutions in Bengaluru is seeking a Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project management and operations. You will understand Waterfall and Agile delivery, track costs across budgeting, accruals, forecasting and variance analysis, and prepare landing estimates for projects.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, SDLC knowledge, and hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, ADO, and Power BI. Experience in the energy sector is a plus.

• Knowledge of SDLC phases and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project management and operations.
• Understand Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Understand project cost elements like Budgeting, Accruals, Forecasting, variance analysis, Landing estimates and costs.
• Track financials against actual costs and build landing estimates for projects.
• Understand elements of vendor costs including CAPEX and OPEX costs.
• Preparation of project management deliverables such as: Project Charter, Project Plan/Schedule, Risk and Issue tracker, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Mapping.
• Overall Governance and Standardizing processes.
• Preparing insightful reports and Dashboards that are fit for purpose, complete, timely, accurate and communicated effectively.
• Optimizing resource utilization.
• Knowledge management and organizing trainings.
• Document Management
• Maintain quality data.
• Produce project reports and ensure that status reporting is fit for purpose and communicated effectively.
• Maintain change logs.
• Drive contingency management, control project costs and schedule, monitor project risks, resources, and scope.

Skills:

• Must have 3 to 6 years experience in the project management
• Must have BE/BTech or BBA
• Must have experience in Project finance management, project governance and quality management, reporting insights analysis, stakeholder management
• Must have good understanding on SDLC phases and deliverables.
• Must have prior working experience in Project Financials, including Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Management, Accruals and Variance Analysis.
• Must have Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Should not have administrative PMO experience like purely resource management, account management
• Project Management certification is preferred
• Hands on experience on any project management tool is preferred example: ADO, Monday.com Jira, MPP, Clarity etc.
• Experience in Power-BI reporting, ServiceNow-ITBM tooling, Vendor Management, Information Management (SharePoint) is preferred
• Experience in Energy sector is preferred
