Job summary

Good co India is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead end-to-end planning, execution, and governance across multiple projects and cross-functional teams.

You will define objectives, roadmaps, budgets, and KPIs, align with business strategy, and drive agile practices with Product, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT, Business Admin, Operations, or related field.
  • MBA/PGDM is an added advantage.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, or SAFe certifications preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program planning, execution, governance, and delivery across multiple projects.
  • Define program objectives, scope, milestones, success metrics, timelines, and delivery plans aligned with business strategy.
  • Drive execution across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholder teams.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and dependency maps.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage program risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints.
  • Establish program governance, operating rhythms, reporting mechanisms, and escalation processes.
  • Track program progress against scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and KPIs and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and resolve execution blockers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Facilitate program reviews, steering committee meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum practices, sprint planning, release planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement where applicable.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans.
  • Manage changes to program scope, priorities, timelines, and resources while assessing business impact.
  • Drive process improvements and operational excellence across program and project management practices.
  • Manage external vendors, partners, and third-party stakeholders when required.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, dashboards, reports, and program communications.
  • Lead complex initiatives involving digital transformation, technology implementation, product launches, process transformation, or organizational change.
  • Ensure programs deliver measurable business outcomes, customer value, operational improvements, and ROI.

Preferred candidate profile
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Product Operations, PMO, Delivery Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple teams, projects, and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Program Management, Project Management, Agile, Scrum, SDLC, Risk Management, Change Management, and Delivery Management.
  • Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Business, Operations, Finance, Sales, and senior leadership teams.
  • Strong expertise in program planning, roadmap management, resource planning, dependency management, budgeting, risk mitigation, and governance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining scope, timelines, quality, and business objectives.
  • Strong experience with program/project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, or equivalent platforms.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards, reporting, and data-driven analysis.
  • Strong ability to define and track KPIs, OKRs, milestones, SLAs, delivery metrics, and program health indicators.
  • Experience with executive communication, stakeholder management, escalation management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in technology, SaaS, IT services, digital transformation, e-commerce, fintech, or product organizations is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM is an added advantage.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, or SAFe certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
