Job summary

Allegis Group requires an experienced PMO/Project Management professional to support the Chief AI Office Technology function in Pune. The role emphasizes project governance, portfolio tracking, financial management and resource coordination across technology programmes.

You will collaborate with Project/Programme Managers, Workstream Leads, Product Owners and Finance to ensure robust governance and delivery across global stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 7 to 8 years of experience in PMO roles.
  • Experience in change delivery and project governance.
  • Strong governance, reporting and delivery management.
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for executive packs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain project plans and PMO trackers.
  • Own monthly status reporting and governance packs.
  • Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies.
  • Identify slippages and drive corrective actions.
  • Coordinate governance forums and executive updates.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and resource alignment.
  • Ensure governance discipline and cross-functional coordination.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PMO / Project Management professional to support the Chief AI Office Technology function

The role will be responsible for project governance, portfolio tracking, financial management, resource coordination, reporting, stakeholder management and operational processes across technology programmes.

You will work closely with Project/Programme Managers, Workstream Leads, Product Owners, Technology, Finance, Risk & Controls, Procurement, WFM and other global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Portfolio Management
  • Build and maintain project plans and PMO trackers.
  • Own monthly project status reporting and delivery-health reporting.
  • Track milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Identify project slippages and work with workstream leads on corrective actions.
  • Facilitate daily/weekly checkpoints, governance forums and executive updates.
  • Prepare status reports and executive-ready governance packs.
  • Analyse trends, burn-up/burn-down, critical paths and forecast vs. actuals.
Financial & Resource Management
  • Manage project and resource allocation.
  • Support project charging and time-booking processes.
  • Track monthly actuals, forecasts and budget performance.
  • Highlight financial risks, opportunities and discrepancies.
  • Consolidate requirements and support project estimates with Finance/Business Partners.
  • Support annual budget planning and budget interlocks.
  • Align resource plans with approved budgets.
  • Support financial and management reporting packs.
  • Track cloud forecasts, travel budgets and other financial requirements.
Resource / Operational Management
  • Manage resource end dates and initiate renewals.
  • Maintain hiring/resource trackers and PMO service logs.
  • Coordinate with WFM, Procurement, Finance and Technology teams.
  • Maintain financial, resource, procurement and cost-rate trackers.
  • Support operational approvals and cross-functional coordination.
Stakeholder & Governance Management
  • Work with senior management, PMs/PMO, business owners, WFM and procurement teams.
  • Coordinate with global stakeholders across India and other locations.
  • Challenge issues constructively and lift issues early.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and governance discipline.
  • Support regulatory, audit and control requirements.
Required Skills
  • 7 to 8 years of experience in PMO / Project Support / Project Management roles.
  • Experience in change delivery; banking or financial services experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Project Governance, Project Reporting and Delivery Management.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse project timelines, delivery metrics and financial information.
  • Strong Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with experience preparing executive-ready presentations.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Experience with project management tools such as:
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • MS Project
    • Clarity
    • ServiceNow
    • Power BI
    • or equivalent tools
  • Understanding of regulatory, audit and control environments.
