Job description

The Operation Manager will oversee hospital operations, departmental coordination, patient service workflow, staff supervision, reporting, process improvement, and service quality at Ramakrishna Multispeciality Hospital, Barasat. This requires MBA, MHA, or Hospital Administration qualification with 10–12 years of healthcare operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily hospital operations across OPD, IPD, emergency, diagnostics, billing, and support departments.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing, front office, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, HR, and administration teams.
• Monitor patient flow, service delivery, waiting time, admission process, and discharge coordination.
• Handle operational escalations, patient concerns, workflow delays, and interdepartmental issues.
• Prepare operational reports, MIS, daily updates, and performance summaries for management.
• Implement hospital SOPs, service standards, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure manpower planning, duty coordination, and smooth departmental functioning.
• Support quality audits, compliance requirements, and patient safety practices.
• Monitor housekeeping, security, maintenance, stores, and facility‑related services.
• Drive patient‑friendly, efficient, and disciplined hospital operations.
