Job summary

Ankura Hospital is seeking a Unit Head- Business Operations to lead day-to-day hospital operations and drive efficient administrative services. The role oversees patient care, governing policies, and SOP development in collaboration with the Medical Director and consultants.

The candidate will be accountable for P&L in Operations, delivering reliable healthcare, cost-effective procedures, and competitive service offerings while managing VIP/VVIP protocols and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• MBA in Hospital management or Hospital administration is required.
• MS Office proficiency is required.
• Ability to manage unit administration and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage day-to-day hospital operations.
• Implement best practices in hospital administration and SOPs.
• Coordinate with Medical Director and consultants on program evaluation and patient care.

The Unit Head- Business Operations is a Strategic Business Leadership officer of the Hospital and the position is accountable for specific agreed deliverables to the Management with the primary authority and responsibility for Designing, Managing and ensuring smooth and effective day-to-day operations and implementing best practices in Hospital Administration Practices to the development of th Patient Care, Administrative Services, Governing Policies and Standard Operating Procedures besides evaluation of clinical programs in association with Medical Director and Consultants, to deliver reliable healthcare, service offerings, competitive packages, cost effective operational procedures, support services and administration for the Hospital. He/She is responsible for P&L for Operations. Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum Qualifications - MBA Hospital management /Hospital administration. Technical Qualifications - MS Office. Ability to handle administration and operations of the Unit. Excellent written and communication skills. Mandatory relevant experience of at least 5 to 8 years. Ability to handle the VIP /VVIP protocols. Good coaching/mentoring and presentation skills. Conflict resolution (employees/patients).
