Job description

The Operation Head will be responsible for managing overall hospital operations, departmental coordination, process improvement, patient service delivery, staff supervision, and administrative control at Sahadev Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires MBA, Graduate, or Hospital Administration qualification with 5–10 years of experience, strong leadership skills, hospital workflow knowledge, and ability to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Manage daily hospital operations across OPD, IPD, emergency, diagnostics, billing, and support services.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing, front office, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
• Monitor patient flow, admission process, discharge process, service delays, and operational issues.
• Improve hospital processes to enhance efficiency, patient satisfaction, and service quality.
• Supervise department heads and ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination.
• Track operational performance, patient feedback, complaints, and service improvement actions.
• Ensure hospital policies, SOPs, safety standards, and service protocols are followed.
• Support manpower planning, duty allocation, staff discipline, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with management for planning, reporting, budgeting, and operational decisions.
• Handle patient and attendant concerns professionally with timely escalation when required.
• Monitor availability of hospital resources, equipment, consumables, and service readiness.
• Support implementation of quality standards, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare operational MIS reports, department updates, and management review data.
• Lead team coordination during emergencies, peak patient load, and service challenges.
