The Head Operation will be responsible for leading overall hospital operations, ensuring smooth coordination across clinical, administrative, support, and patient service departments. This involves planning operational strategies, monitoring service quality, improving process efficiency, managing departmental performance, and supporting patient‑centric healthcare delivery. The candidate should have strong leadership, hospital administration knowledge, problem‑solving ability, and experience in managing healthcare operations at a senior level.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily hospital operations across clinical, administrative, and support departments.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve hospital efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor departmental performance, patient flow, turnaround time, and operational productivity.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, billing, pharmacy, diagnostics, housekeeping, security, and facility teams.
- Ensure hospital processes comply with internal policies, healthcare standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions for better workflow and patient experience.
- Review operational reports, department MIS, service indicators, and management dashboards.
- Support cost control, resource optimization, manpower planning, and infrastructure utilization.
- Handle escalated patient, staff, vendor, or departmental issues with timely resolution.
- Drive process standardization, SOP implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with senior management for planning, expansion, budgeting, and operational decision‑making.
- Ensure smooth coordination during emergencies, audits, inspections, and hospital events.
- Supervise department heads and guide them on operational priorities and performance goals.
- Promote patient safety, service excellence, teamwork, and accountability across the hospital.
