Job summary

DHL Supply Chain India is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to own end-to-end order management, shipment monitoring, and invoice administration. You will coordinate with warehouses, carriers, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate invoicing.

The role requires collaboration across APAC-style regional stakeholders, knowledge of OMS/TMS/WMS, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant operational experience in logistics, customer service, or supply chain operations may be considered.
• Experience with Order Management System (OMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across regions and functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders through the complete order lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Monitor shipment progress and coordinate with warehouses and carriers to resolve issues.
• Support invoice administration and verify data accuracy with documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with customer supply chain teams and country interfaces.
• Identify operational improvements and assist in standardizing processes and updating SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Management
• Monitor and manage customer orders throughout the order lifecycle.
• Review order status and identify processing exceptions.
• Coordinate with warehouses and customer service teams to resolve order issues.
• Ensure orders meet customer requested delivery dates.
• Handle order modifications, cancellations, holds and releases.
• Shipment Monitoring & Follow-up
• Monitor shipment progress from order creation through delivery.
• Proactively follow up delayed shipments with logistics providers.
• Coordinate ETA updates and communicate shipment exceptions.
• Coordinate shipment investigations and escalation.
• Maintain shipment tracking reports and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Invoice Administration
• Create manual invoices
• Verify invoice data accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Ensure invoice creation complies with applicable operational procedures.
• Regional Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise with:
  • Customer’s Supply Chain Teams
  • Customer’s Control Center Teams
  • Country Interfaces
  • Carriers
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Planning Teams
• Coordinate operational activities across multiple APAC countries.
• Support issue resolution through email, phone, collaboration tools, and escalation channels.
