Job summary

Kogta is seeking an experienced Collections professional to lead hard bucket recovery across a defined cluster. You will manage 90+ DPD, NPA and write-off accounts, coordinating with field teams, agencies, and legal partners to drive recoveries.

The role requires strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership to guide outsourcing partners, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Collections/Recovery in Banking/NBFC/HFC/Vehicle Finance.
• Hard Bucket Collections, Recovery, Repo and Legal Collections experience.
• Strong knowledge of collection practices and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing agencies and outsourced recovery teams.
• Good negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle challenging customer situations and meet recovery targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage Hard Bucket portfolio (90+ DPD, NPA & Write-off accounts) for the assigned cluster.
• Drive recovery targets through field teams, agencies, legal actions, and recovery vendors.
• Monitor collection performance and ensure timely follow-up on delinquent accounts.
• Coordinate with Legal teams, advocates, and law enforcement for recovery activities.
• Manage repo, release, stock management, and disposal of seized assets.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and identify recovery opportunities to control losses.
• Ensure adherence to collection processes and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Collection Managers, Executives, and Agencies to drive productivity.
• Prepare agency allocations, MIS reports, and track recovery milestones.
• Conduct field visits for critical, high-value, and skip cases.
• Provide MIS, recovery forecasts, and portfolio performance analysis to senior management.

• Mandatory experience in Hard Bucket Collections, Recovery, Repo, and Legal Collections.
• Strong knowledge of collection practices, recovery processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in managing agencies and outsourced recovery teams.
