Job summary

Chola in Salem, India, seeks a proactive professional to manage a dynamic collections portfolio, monitor daily performance, and drive recovery targets across 30+ DPD accounts.

You will handle chronic and complex delinquency cases, coordinate with Sales and Credit teams on ED/NS cases and risk-prone segments, and oversee repossession and disposal activities in line with guidelines.

Role & responsibilities :

• Manage collections portfolio by tracking daily collection performance, monitoring 30+ DPD accounts, and ensuring achievement of recovery targets.
  
• Handle chronic and complex delinquency cases, including shortfall recoveries, probable NPA accounts, and preventing accounts from moving into higher delinquency buckets.
  
• Coordinate with Sales and Credit teams on ED/NS cases, intentional defaulters, risk-prone customer segments, and field investigation observations.
  
• Oversee repossession and disposal activities by planning repossessions and auction/sale of surrendered vehicles in line with organizational guidelines.
  
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing customer queries and complaints promptly while maintaining professional collection practices.
  
• Lead and manage the collections team through task allocation, performance monitoring, coaching, training, and adherence to SOPs, compliance, and statutory requirements.
  
• Liaise with Legal and external agencies for notices, repossession, auctions, litigation matters, court summons, and legal payment requests to ensure regulatory compliance and timely action.
