Job summary

Abhyansh Shipping Services is seeking a logistics professional to manage export bookings, carrier coordination and related documentation from Navi Mumbai. The role involves drafting BLs, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with overseas agents for DAP or DDP terms.

The ideal candidate will handle billing, costing and file closure, maintain shipment trackers, and provide accurate customer service while monitoring multiple shipments and cut-offs with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of export documents such as commercial invoice, packing list, LUT, end-use details and SCOMET declarations.
• Experience with booking processes, BL drafts, VGM, Form 13, and port-in procedures.
• Ability to compare sea/air freight rates and calculate shipment profitability.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, email, trackers and logistics systems like Logisys.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of export documentation such as commercial invoice, packing list, export value declaration, LUT, end-use details and SCOMET / non-SCOMET declarations, as applicable.


• Working knowledge of shipping-line booking processes, SI cut-offs, BL drafts, VGM, Form 13, ODEX and port-in processes, based on applicable procedures.


• Ability to compare sea / air freight rates, local charges and surcharges; calculate buy / sell costs and understand shipment-level profitability.


• Proficiency in MS Excel, email, shipment trackers and logistics / freight-forwarding systems such as Logisys or equivalent.


• Strong written and verbal communication, numerical accuracy, documentation discipline and ability to manage multiple shipments and cut-off times simultaneously.
