Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and provide timely updates on shipment status and milestones.
• Coordinate end-to-end export/import shipments, including booking with shipping lines, transporters, and overseas agents.
• Prepare and verify export documentation such as SI, HBL, commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping bills.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, and overseas partners to ensure smooth shipment execution and export clearance.
• Monitor shipment movement, communicate delays or exceptions, and resolve customer queries promptly.
• Maintain shipment records, checklists, and documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Pricing to obtain freight rates and prepare quotations.
• Support customers with shipment planning, routing options, and documentation requirements.
• Liaise with Sales, Operations, Documentation, and Accounts to ensure service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with professional, responsive support.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Customer Support Executive with experience in freight forwarding and export operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing end-to-end shipment coordination, handling customer communication, preparing export documentation, and coordinating with internal teams, shipping lines, transporters, and overseas agents to ensure seamless shipment execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and provide timely updates on shipment status and operational milestones.
• Coordinate end-to-end export/import shipments, including booking with shipping lines, transporters, and overseas agents.
• Prepare and verify export documentation such as Shipping Instructions (SI), House Bills of Lading (HBL), commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and other related documents.
• Coordinate shipping lines, transporters, and overseas partners to ensure smooth shipment execution and timely export clearance.
• Monitor shipment movement, proactively communicate delays or exceptions, and ensure prompt resolution of customer queries.
• Maintain shipment records, operational checklists, and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate with the Pricing team to obtain competitive freight rates and prepare customer quotations whenever required.
• Support customers with shipment planning, routing options, and documentation requirements.
• Liaise closely with the Sales, Operations, Documentation, and Accounts teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering professional, responsive, and solution oriented support.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance throughout the shipment lifecycle.
