• Support frequency planning, cell planning, and site selection input.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on new features and upgrades.
• Prepare and present reports on network health and optimisation initiatives.
• Guide and mentor RF engineers, promoting knowledge sharing within the team.

The NPO Lead is responsible for overseeing the performance and optimisation of the radio access network (RAN), having 2G, 3G, 4G 5G networks. This role requires a deep understanding of radio technologies (LTE/5G/UMTS) KPI, strong analytical skills, checking current network KPI and suggesting various optimisation strategies and leadership in driving network performance improvements. The lead will mentor junior engineers, coordinate optimisation activities, and ensure KPI targets are consistently met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily RF optimisation activities to ensure network performance KPIs (e.g., throughput, call drop, accessibility, latency) are achieved across 2G/3G/4G/5G networks.
• Oversee parameter tuning, neighbour planning, and features implementation to optimise coverage, capacity, and quality.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams for optimisation projects and special events (e.g., new site launch, network modernisation).
• Support planning teams with input for frequency planning, cell planning, and site selection.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to evaluate new features and software upgrades.
• Prepare and present regular reports on network health, optimisation activities, and improvement initiatives to management.
• Guide and mentor RF engineers and ensure continuous knowledge sharing within the team.
• Interface with regulatory bodies and third parties as needed for optimisation-related matters.
