Job summary

GoTelka is seeking experienced RF Optimization Engineers with hands-on Ericsson LTE/5G expertise for remote work in India. You will monitor network performance, analyze KPIs, optimize radio parameters, troubleshoot RF issues, and drive continuous improvements across 4G LTE and 5G SA/NSA environments.

Responsibilities include drive-test data analysis, RCA, parameter tuning, and collaboration with RAN, Core, and Performance teams to improve customer experience and network quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong hands-on RF optimization experience.
• Expertise in Ericsson LTE and 5G radio networks (SA/NSA).
• Experience with 5G SA/NSA architectures and LTE/NR air interfaces.
• Experience monitoring and optimizing wireless KPIs and drive tests.
• Ability to analyze RF data, perform RCA, and troubleshoot issues.
• Knowledge of Ericsson optimization tools and performance management.

Detailed Job Description

As an RF Optimization Engineer, you will support the optimization and performance enhancement of live LTE and 5G radio networks. You will work remotely with engineering and operations teams to analyze network performance metrics, investigate service degradation, conduct root cause analysis, and implement optimization strategies that improve network quality and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze LTE and 5G network performance KPIs.
• Perform RF optimization activities across Ericsson 4G and 5G networks.
• Analyze drive test logs and identify coverage, quality, and capacity issues.
• Optimize mobility parameters including handovers, reselection, and neighbor relations.
• Investigate accessibility, retainability, integrity, and mobility performance issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for network degradations and customer-impacting issues.
• Recommend and implement parameter tuning strategies to improve network performance.
• Support 5G Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) optimization activities.
• Analyze traffic trends and recommend capacity improvements.
• Collaborate with RAN, Core, Transmission, and Performance Management teams.
• Prepare optimization reports, performance dashboards, and improvement recommendations.
• Support network acceptance and performance validation activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in RF Optimization.
• Expertise in Ericsson LTE and 5G radio network environments.
• Practical experience with 5G SA and 5G NSA architectures.
• Strong understanding of LTE and NR air interface principles.
• Experience monitoring and optimizing wireless KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility, retainability, mobility, and throughput KPIs.
• Experience analyzing drive test data and troubleshooting RF issues.
• Understanding of LTE and 5G call flows and radio procedures.
• Experience with Ericsson optimization and performance management tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Tier-1 mobile operators.
• Knowledge of SON (Self-Organizing Networks) concepts.
• Exposure to Massive MIMO, Carrier Aggregation, VoLTE, and DSS optimization.
