You will optimize newly integrated cells and layers, improve LTE/VoLTE KPIs, troubleshoot multi-layer 4G and 5G performance, and support ENDC and LMS parameter tuning across L600, L2100, NR2500/NR41, NR600.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Ericsson ENM and command-line operations.
• Experience with multi-layer cluster optimization across 5G and LTE networks.
• Strong understanding of ENDC profiles, baseline parameters, and LMS parameters.

Responsibilities

• Post‑integration validation and optimization of new cells and layers; ensure parameter alignment and stable network performance.

RF Optimization Engineer – 5G/LTE Small Cell

Location- Remote, India

We are seeking an RF Optimization Engineer with hands‑on experience in 5G/LTE optimization, small cell networks, and post‑integration performance validation. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Ericsson ENM and command‑line operations.

This opportunity involves optimizing newly integrated cells and frequency layers, improving LTE/VoLTE KPIs, and troubleshooting network performance issues across multi‑layer 4G and 5G networks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Mandatory hands‑on experience with Ericsson ENM and command‑line operations.
• Experience with multi‑layer cluster optimization across 5G and LTE networks.
• Strong understanding of ENDC profiles, baseline parameters, and LMS parameters.
• Experience supporting L600, L2100, NR2500/NR41, and NR600 layers.
• Strong LTE/VoLTE KPI analysis and RF Layer 3 troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to investigate handover failures, throughput degradation, dropped calls, and access/RACH failures.
• Experience reviewing daily KPI reports and identifying sites with performance degradation.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting L600 and Anchor optimization projects.
• Experience generating and interpreting TrueCall plots to assess coverage changes.
• Experience implementing new features and tuning LTE radio network parameters.

What You Will Be Doing

Support post‑integration validation and optimization of new cells and layers, ensuring parameter alignment and stable network performance. Analyze KPIs, investigate network quality issues, and implement improvements across small cell and multi‑layer LTE/5G networks.

• Networks: 4G LTE, VoLTE, and 5G NR.
• Layers: L600, L2100, NR2500/NR41, and NR600.
• Tools: Ericsson ENM, command‑line interfaces, and TrueCall.
• Focus Areas: ENDC, LMS parameters, Layer 3 analysis, and small cell optimization.

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform post‑integration checks for new 5G cells and layers.
• Enable and validate ENDC profiles on the Master Node for NR600.
• Validate and optimize newly integrated L2100, NR2500, and NR600 layers.
• Align baseline and LMS parameters following L600 carrier integration.
• Monitor and optimize LTE/VoLTE KPIs after L600 and Anchor deployments.
• Review KPI trends, troubleshoot degraded sites, and track corrective actions.
• Generate coverage plots and document optimization findings.
