Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end radio network performance monitoring, KPI analysis, and optimization across multi-vendor, multi-technology cellular networks.
• Perform granular parameter audits and optimization across Huawei and ZTE RAN equipment to boost network accessibility and retainability.
• Design, build, and deploy automated optimization scripts and data analytics tools to automate repetitive network performance management workflows.
• Conduct deep-dive troubleshooting on cell-level and cluster-level performance degradation, identifying root causes for dropped calls and handover failures.
• Analyze drive test logs, scanner data, and layer-3 signaling call traces to diagnose coverage holes, pilot pollution, and inter-frequency interference.

Detailed Job Description:

As an NPO Expert with Huawei, you will take direct technical ownership of radio network optimization, traffic load balancing, capacity management, and performance assurance across diverse cellular deployment environments. Working in close collaboration with mobile network operations managers, engineering leads, RF planning teams, and field maintenance crews, you will analyze massive telemetry datasets and drive systemic parameter adjustments across 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G New Radio networks.

Your core technical mandate requires deep, multi-vendor diagnostic expertise across Huawei and ZTE cellular radio access platforms, with auxiliary experience on Nokia AirScale/Flexi systems serving as an added advantage. You will lead comprehensive network key performance indicator (KPI) audits, resolve complex accessibility, retainability, mobility, and throughput bottlenecks, and conduct in-depth drive test analyses and layer-3 signaling trace investigations. A mandatory requirement for this role is demonstrated proficiency in network automation; you will design and implement automated performance scripts, root cause analysis (RCA) bots, and automated parameter tuning workflows to accelerate optimization cycles. • Mandatory, hands-on automation and scripting capabilities utilizing Python, Bash, SQL, or specialized RAN automation toolkits.
• Deep technical understanding of mobile communications standards across 2G GSM, 3G UMTS, 4G LTE, and 5G NR technologies and call flows.
• Proven expertise in accessibility, retainability, handover, and throughput KPI optimization and layer-3 protocol trace analysis.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Prior hands-on network performance and optimization experience with Nokia cellular radio equipment (Nokia NetAct, AirScale).
