Job summary

SKH in India is seeking a candidate to lead new product development for key customers, coordinating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to deliver robust products from concept to production.

The role covers preparing CAR-V approvals, APQP planning, development of process documentation (PFD, PFMEA, CP, MSA, SPC), tool and fixture development, supplier PPAP, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all new product development activities for all customers (SMG, TATA, A/L).
• Preparation of Documents for CAR-V Approval for any change and meeting with customer for CAR-V approval.
• Preparation of PFD, PFMEA, CP, MSA, SPC for new product.
• SOC related activities and IMDS data.
• All testing co-ordination for NPD and Current Parts.
• Calibration of all Equipment and Measuring instrument.
• Supplier Audit and Supplier PPAP during NPD.
• Development of tool and fixtures of New Product.
• Co-ordination with GA for drawing release and any ECN, PCN.
• Preparation of APQP time plan.
• Training for New Product and Process.
• Statutory and Regulatory requirements identification and adherence of same.
• Floor layout planning and execution.
• Preparation of inspection standard (Incoming, OPS, FI,FI Standard and WI)
• Meeting with customer for approval of packing standard, Trolley approval etc.
• In-house Sample trial.
• All NPD document retention.
• Regular tool maintenance (Forming, Cutting and Assembly) and activity related to tool Preventive Maint. / Tool Predictive maintenance
• Resolve any customer complaint related to tool correction e.g. Pillar Gap, Excess Flush Etc.
• Ensure tool meets production and Quality needs
• Identify the areas of improvement in tool to enhance efficiency and Quality of tool.

Preferred candidate profile
