Job description

Role: NOC support engineer - (AWS, Linux, Shell/Bash/Python)

Experience: 3 to 5 Years | Work location: Hinjewadi, Pune | Work mode: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor system health, alerts, dashboards, and logs using standard monitoring tools.
• Perform first-level and second-level troubleshooting on incidents.
• Execute runbooks for known issues and escape when needed.
• Perform basic Linux troubleshooting (logs, services, disk/CPU/memory checks).
• Run and interpret basic SQL queries for data validation and issue diagnosis.
• Work with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) for routine checks and troubleshooting.
• Document incident details, resolution steps, and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Communicate timely updates to stakeholders and ensure proper shift handover.
• Collaborate with L2/L3 teams for deeper analysis and RCA contributions.
• Build scripts to automate repetitive checks or reporting (optional).

Good to Have Skills

• Automation/Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell (any scripting experience is a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
• Understanding of ITIL processes.

Shift Requirements

• Comfortable with 24/7 rotational shifts.
• Ability to join on-call rotation for critical incidents.
