NOC Engineer/Manager

Job summary

Capgemini in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced NOC Engineer to join our 24x7 operations. You will monitor networks in real-time, detect and respond to alarms, manage incidents, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and adherence to SLAs.

The role requires strong knowledge of IP networking, routing and switching, ITIL practices, and familiarity with telecom and broadband tech such as DOCSIS/HFC. WFO five days a week, rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in NOC/telecom operations.
• Experience with network monitoring and ITSM tools.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing and switching.
• Experience in incident management and ticketing.
• Familiarity with DOCSIS, HFC, CMTS and broadband tech.
• Knowledge of Voice, Video, Wi‑Fi and mobile techs.
• ITIL knowledge preferred.
• CCNA certification added advantage.

• Incident detection, escalation and coordination with internal teams.
• Ticket management and incident resolution to ensure SLA compliance.

Shift Details

Work Environment

Shift Timings

• 5:30 PM 2:30 AM
• 2:30 AM 10:30 AM
• 10:30 AM 5:30 PM
• Shift rotation takes place approximately every two months.
• Company-provided transportation is available for eligible shifts.

Work Model

• 100% Work From Office (WFO)
• No hybrid work option available.
• 5 days a week WFO is mandatory.
• Diploma Full time also fine

The NOC Engineer will be responsible for real-time monitoring, incident detection, alarm handling, ticket management, troubleshooting, escalation management, and coordination with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure service availability and SLA compliance.
