Job summary

TELUS Digital in India is seeking a detail-oriented NOC Administrator to monitor, maintain, and support our network infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted operation and optimal performance.

You will handle incidents, perform routine maintenance, coordinate with vendors, document configurations, and participate in on-call rotations to meet SLAs. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in large-scale networks, hands-on monitoring tools, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Network Administrator, NOC Technician, or similar role in a large-scale network environment.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and systems (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Cisco Prime).
• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve network issues effectively.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation as required.

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive NOC Administrator to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The NOC administrator will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting our network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operation and optimal performance. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network infrastructure using network monitoring tools and systems to ensure availability, performance, and security.
• Respond to network incidents, alerts, and service requests, troubleshoot issues, and resolve or escape as necessary to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patch management, and configuration changes to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve network issues and implement necessary changes or upgrades.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
