About the Role

As a NOC Shift Lead, you will be responsible for providing daily operational support and maintenance of all Continent 8 infrastructure. Your primary focus will be monitoring system availability and performance to minimize downtime and optimize service delivery, aiming for a 99.9% service availability SLA.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network-related incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Level 3 technical teams supporting Data Centre Hosting, Cloud, and Network services.
• Participate in technology projects across data centre, network, and cloud domains.
• Create, maintain, and improve support and operational documentation.
• Contribute to incident management, change control, and standard customer provisioning activities.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• 6-9 years of experience in a network operations or support environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on service excellence.
• Experience with incident and change management in an IP services environment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and resource management tools (e.g., Cacti, MRTG, SolarWinds).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Technical Exposure (Advantageous):

• Cisco Meraki and ASA firewalls
• Juniper hardware
• VMware solutions
• Nutanix hardware
• Microsoft Enterprise Suite

Desirable:

• Experience supporting large international networks in a global, multi-location business.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, JNCIA, VCA, or Microsoft certifications.
