Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for unresolved L1 network issues
• Troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
• Perform packet captures and log analysis
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability
• Implement configuration changes and firmware/software updates
• Assist in deployment of new network devices
• Configure VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), ACLs, QoS, NAT
• Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and reports
• Support network security controls and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with L1, L3, vendors, and cross-functional IT teams
• Participate in on-call support and maintenance windows

Key Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for unresolved L1 network issues
• Troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks

• CLI proficiency; scripting knowledge (Python/Bash) is a plus
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
