Job summary

Kaizen Sra Technologies in Hyderabad is looking for a Network Engineer at L2/L3 level with 8-10 years of experience to support enterprise network infrastructure from office location.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco, Nexus, ASA/FTD, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, HP/Aruba, Meraki, and wireless controllers, plus strong incident, problem and change management skills and 24x7 on-call readiness.

Job description

Network Engineer L2+/L3 || 8 - 10 yrs of exp || Location: Hyderabad

( Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for enterprise network infrastructure in a remote infrastructure model.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management activities in accordance with defined SLAs and operational metrics.
• Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents or escalate them to appropriate teams when required.
• Monitor the status and progress of all open incidents and ensure timely updates and accurate documentation until closure.
• Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly operational review meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide 24x7 rotational on-call support, including participation in emergency response activities, major incident management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Identify and resolve any potential network monitoring performance and availability issues.
• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network devices, including:
• Cisco Routers and Switches (Mid & High-End)
• Cisco Nexus Switches
• Cisco ASA & Firepower (FTD)
• Fortinet Firewalls
• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Juniper SRX Firewalls
• HP/Aruba Switches
• Cisco IDS/IPS
• Cisco, Aruba, and Meraki Wireless Controllers & Access Points (preferably integrated with Cisco ISE)
• Support firmware/IOS upgrades, hardware refresh initiatives, security hardening, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Participate in bridge calls with customers, vendors, and internal technical teams during network incidents to restore services as quickly as possible.
• Coordinate with multiple technology vendors for issue diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.
• Implement network configuration changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities following approved change management processes.
• Ensure all network changes are documented, reviewed, approved, and executed in compliance with organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, runbooks, and implementation guides.
• Prepare detailed reports on incident status, service requests, project updates, and operational metrics.
• Ensure adherence to network build standards and participate in operational readiness reviews for new infrastructure deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure, security, and systems teams to support business initiatives and continuous service improvements.

Required Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Extreme, HPE/Aruba routing and switching technologies.
• Experience administering Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, HP/Aruba, and Meraki networking solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching protocols, including:
• TCP/IP
• OSPF
• VLANs
• STP
• HSRP/VRRP
• VPN technologies
• NAT
• ACLs
• EtherChannel
• Experience with wireless technologies, including Cisco, Aruba, and Meraki wireless solutions.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL preferred).
• Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24x7 rotational support environment.
