Job summary

TeamLease is seeking an experienced Network Engineer L2 for the Bridgestone project in Indore (Kheda). The role focuses on managing and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure in a 247 environment.

You will monitor Cisco routing/switching, handle VLANs, IP addressing, and routing protocols while coordinating with ISPs and internal teams. Prioritize incident resolution and SLA adherence in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Good knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, DHCP and DNS.
• Experience with OSPF, BGP/EIGRP and basic MPLS.
• Experience with Incident & Change Management and ITSM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, connectivity, latency, packet-loss and network availability issues.
• Work on VLAN, STP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and IP addressing.
• Troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and EIGRP.
• Handle network incidents and service requests through ITSM/ticketing tools.
• Coordinate with ISP and internal teams for circuit and connectivity-related issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and escalate to L3 when required.
• Support planned network changes, maintenance activities and configuration updates.
• Maintain incident documentation and SLA compliance.
• Participate in 247 rotational shifts and handover activities.
