Job summary

ATAIN in Gurugram is seeking a Sr Engineer Network to lead a global team of network engineers (L1/L2/L3) and ensure 24x7 service availability. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless components.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on networking experience, strong knowledge of BGP, STP, VPNs, and security devices, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Network domain managing global networks.
• Strong hands-on experience in network domain and available to support 24x7 global operations.
• Developing and implementing network designs, including topology, protocols, and network security measures.
• Designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Firewall & wireless.
• Perform regular network performance tuning and optimization and troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain network security devices and work on vulnerability closure to ensure compliance
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies and core Internet Protocols.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on Routing Protocols (BGP)
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on switching (STP, VSS, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, Multi-Layer Switches)
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on Security technologies (Must Checkpoint), (Good to have - Cisco ASA, Fortigate, Palo Alto etc)
• Thorough knowledge and configuration experience on NAT, IPSec/ SSL VPN setups on Checkpoint & Cisco Firewalls
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on Links Management (Internet, MPLS IPLC, P2P etc)
• Good to have knowledge and understanding on IT Compliance (i.e., PCI, ISO, SSAE and other Industry standard)
• Good to have knowledge and understanding on Network Monitoring Tools (SolarWinds).
• Certifications like Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE are highly desirable.

Job description :
