Job summary

SHI Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking a Network Support Engineer (L1) to join our office-based team. You will monitor and troubleshoot the global IT network, using SolarWinds, Manage Engine, Cisco Prime and NAGIOS, and perform basic VLAN/DHCP and wireless connectivity tasks.

The role requires 1–3 years in global IT support, familiarity with VPNs and routing, and the ability to coordinate with ISPs. Shifts align with Australian time zones; ITIL/CCNA knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a global IT support environment.
• Proficiency in ticketing tools (ServiceNow) and network monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, VPNs and wireless networking.
• Experience coordinating with ISPs and third-party vendors.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 level support for Global IT infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance using SolarWinds, Manage Engine, Cisco Prime, NAGIOS.
• Perform proactive monitoring of Cisco R&S, HP Aruba, Ruckus Wireless, WAN and ISP links.
• Handle bandwidth utilization analysis and generate availability and trend reports.
• Respond to alerts/notifications configured in monitoring systems.
• Carry out basic network operations: VLAN creation, port/user mapping, DHCP, wireless connectivity troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with ISPs and third-party vendors for issue resolution.
• Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change & Configuration Management.
• Work with ticketing tools like ServiceNow for issue tracking and resolution.

Job Opportunity: Network Support Engineer (L1) – Hyderabad (Work From Office)

Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Work From Office

Shift: Australian Time Zone (24/7 support & rotational shifts)

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days preferred

Summary

• Strong knowledge of Routing protocols, Virtual private networks (VPN), Switching protocols, and Wireless networking.
• Excellent communication skills for ISP coordination and international client coordination.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.
• Suggested skills: Experience with Cisco CCNA/CCNP, ITIL certification, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) would be a plus.
