Job summary

Captain Polyplast is seeking an experienced Molding Machine Operator to support our plastic processing operations in Gujarat. You will operate and monitor molding machines, ensure smooth production, maintain quality, and minimize downtime across Injection, Blow, and extrusion processes.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on experience, familiarity with mold setting and troubleshooting, and the ability to work in rotating shifts.ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical or Plastic Technology is

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in mechanical/plastic tech is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of molding machine operation experience.
• Knowledge of mold setting and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Injection Molding / Blow Molding / Extrusion Molding machines.
• Set up machines per production needs and ensure proper cycle times.
• Perform mold changeovers and basic machine adjustments.
• Ensure production output meets quality and quantity targets.
• Check raw material usage and report abnormalities.
• Inspect finished products for defects such as flash, short shots, warpage, surface defects.
• Maintain daily production records and shift reports.
• Follow safety standards and housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance for breakdown support.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Injection Molding / Blow Molding / Extrusion Molding machines.

• Basic understanding of quality checks and production discipline.

Education Qualification

• ITI / Diploma (Mechanical / Plastic Technology) preferred
