Durucooperation is seeking an Engineer – Injection Molding located in India, Andhra Pradesh. This role is responsible for managing injection molding operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring product quality adherence. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 6 years of relevant experience, specifically in injection molding and multi-injection processes.
The position requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and process optimization, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. A Diploma or BE in Plastic Molding or a related field is mandatory.
The Engineer – Injection Molding is responsible for supporting and managing injection molding operations to ensure efficient production, consistent product quality, and adherence to manufacturing standards. The role requires hands-on experience in injection molding and multi-injection processes, with the ability to optimize process parameters, troubleshoot production issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and control injection molding and multi-injection molding processes to achieve production targets.
Set and optimize molding process parameters to ensure product quality and process stability.
Troubleshoot process-related issues and molding defects to minimize downtime and rejections.
Conduct machine setup, process trials, and validation activities as required.
Ensure efficient utilization of machines, molds, and resources to maximize productivity.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tool Room teams for smooth manufacturing operations.
Monitor cycle times, process performance, and machine efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.
Support new product introductions and mold trials.
Implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring process and quality issues.
Maintain process records, production reports, and relevant documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Diploma/BE in Plastic Molding or similar stream.
Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in a similar industry.
Hands-on experience in Injection Molding and Multi-Injection Molding processes.
Knowledge of molding process parameters, machine operations, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience in identifying and resolving molding defects and process-related issues.
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of quality standards, safety requirements, and production processes.
