Job summary

M/S Annika Power System in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, is seeking a skilled Plastic Moulding Machine Operator to run injection moulding machines and produce components for electrical products. The role requires hands-on operation, adherence to safety and production standards, and the ability to work independently.

You will load/unload moulds, monitor cycle times, temperatures and pressures, perform in-process quality checks, and maintain accurate production records.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience operating injection moulding machines.
• Ability to read basic production documents and understand quality parameters.
• Familiarity with mould changeover and basic troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection moulding machines (50-350 ton) as per production plan and set cycle parameters.
• Assist in mould loading, unloading, and changeover activities.
• Monitor machine settings temperature, pressure, injection speed, cooling and cycle time and report deviations.
• Feed raw material, handle granule drying, and mix masterbatch in correct proportions.
• Carry out in-process quality checks; identify short shots, flash, sink marks and other defects.
• Perform deflashing, trimming, and finishing of moulded parts.
• Maintain production records, hourly output data, and rejection reports.
• Control material wastage and reprocess rejected material as per instructions.
• Follow 5S, safety norms, and PPE requirements at all times.
