Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Pune seeks a Support Analyst to join the Global FIX connectivity team, handling FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges.

You will support daily trading operations across High Touch & Low Touch desks, perform FIX testing and certifications, and partner with infra teams to maintain FIX network relationships and regional teams across HK, NY, Tokyo, London, Sydney.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years' overall experience with 3–5 years in FIX technology.
• Proven experience with Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines.
• Strong knowledge of Cash Equity DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX.
• Experience with SWAP, Future & Options FIX in DMA/DSA.
• Broker/Dealer environment experience (3–5 years).
• Familiarity with Asian market exchange rules (HK/China/JP/KR/SG/TW/AU/IN/ID).
• Understanding of trade flow systems for DMA/DSA booking (ID markets like China Connect, Korea, Taiwan, India).
• Understanding of Order Management Systems like Fidessa, Flextrade.
• Familiarity with front-end systems like Bloomberg, ITG.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily trading operations desk support for multiple desks.
• Perform FIX testing and certifications for clients, vendors, brokers, and pools.
• Coordinate with infra teams to set up connectivity and maintain FIX network relationships.
• Collaborate with regional FIX teams in Hong Kong, Pune, New York, Japan, London and Sydney.

• Support Analyst will be part of the Global FIX connectivity team responsible for handling FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges.
• The duties include daily trading operations desk support for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk and F&O desk.
• The duties also include FIX testing & certifications of FIX clients, FIX vendors, FIX brokers, internal & external dark & lit pools & exchanges.
• The person should be able to understand & work with infra teams to setup connectivity between external parties and with the firm and able to maintain FIX network relationship.
• Support analyst will be working closely with regional FIX teams in Hong Kong, Pune, New York, Japan, London and Sydney.

Job skills required:

• 6 ? 8 years experience with 3 minimum of 3 - 5 years proficiency in FIX technology with good experience in FIX certification and FIX client on-boarding
• Proven experience in Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines
• Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX environment
• Excellent knowledge of SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA & DSA FIX environment
• 3-5 years of experience in a Broker / Dealer environment
• Good knowledge of exchange rules of Asian markets (HK/China CONNECT/JP/KR/SG/TW/AU/IN/ID)
• Good understanding of Trade Flow systems needed for DMA/DSA trade booking especially in ID markets like China Connect, Korea, Taiwan and India
