Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Maharashtra, India seeks a Support Analyst to join the Global FIX connectivity team. You will handle FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges, and support daily trading operations for multiple desks.

You will perform FIX testing and certifications, onboarding of FIX clients, and maintain FIX network relationships with regional teams across Asia, the US, and Europe. Strong knowledge of FIX engines and Asian-market rules is required.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience with at least 3–5 years in FIX technology.
• Experience with Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines.
• Strong knowledge of Cash Equity DMA/DSA, Agency, and Program FIX.
• Knowledge of SWAP, Futures & Options in FIX environment.
• Experience in a Broker/Dealer environment.
• Understanding of Asian market exchange rules (HK/China, JP/KR/SG/TW/AU/IN/ID).
• Understanding of trade flow systems for DMA/DSA trade booking (ID markets like China Connect, Korea, Taiwan, India).
• Familiarity with Order Management Systems like Fidessa, Flextrade; Front end systems like Bloomberg, ITG

Responsibilities

• Support FIX connectivity for clients, vendors, brokers, and exchanges.
• Provide daily trading operations desk support for High Touch & Low Touch cash equities, SWAP desk, and F&O desk.
• Perform FIX testing and certifications for FIX clients, vendors, brokers, and pools/exchanges.
• Collaborate with infra teams to set up connectivity between external parties and with the firm; maintain FIX network relationships.
• Work with regional FIX teams in Hong Kong, Pune, New York, Japan, London and Sydney.

The duties include daily trading operations desk support for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk and F&O desk. The duties also include FIX testing & certifications of FIX clients, FIX vendors, FIX brokers, internal & external dark & lit pools & exchanges. The person should be able to understand & work with infra teams to setup connectivity between external parties and with the firm and able to maintain FIX network relationship. Support analyst will be working closely with regional FIX teams in Hong Kong, Pune, New York, Japan, London and Sydney.

Job skills required

• 6 ? 8 years experience with 3 minimum of 3 - 5 years proficiency in FIX technology with good experience in FIX certification and FIX client on-boarding
• Proven experience in Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines
• Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX environment
• Excellent knowledge of SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA & DSA FIX environment
• 3-5 years of experience in a Broker / Dealer environment
