Job summary

CLSA in Pune invites an experienced Support Analyst to join the Global FIX connectivity team. You'll handle FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges, and support daily trading operations for High Touch & Low Touch cash equities, SWAP desk and F&O desk.

The role requires 6–8 years in FIX technology with on-boarding, testing and certification, and collaboration with regional FIX teams across Asia-Pacific and the Americas.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years experience with 3–5 years proficiency in FIX technology
• Proven experience in Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines
• Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX environment
• Excellent knowledge of SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA & DSA FIX environment
• 3–5 years of experience in a Broker / Dealer environment
• Good knowledge of Asian markets exchange rules (HK/China/JP/KR/SG/TW/IN)
• Understand Trade Flow systems for DMA/DSA trade booking in ID markets
• Familiar with front-end systems like Bloomberg, ITG
• Experience with FIX testing tools like VeriFIX
• Experience with FIX monitoring tools like Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS
• Exposure to change & incident management tools like SNOW
• Self-starter, able to work independently
• Willing to take on other Trade Support functions
• Ready for trading floor environment
• Excellent communication with Vendors and Traders
• FIX development skills a plus
• Knowledge of SRE is a plus

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Support Analyst will be part of the Global FIX connectivity team responsible for handling FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges.
• The duties include daily trading operations desk support for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk and F&O desk.
• The duties also include FIX testing & certifications of FIX clients, FIX vendors, FIX brokers, internal & external dark & lit pools & exchanges.
• The person should be able to understand & work with infra teams to setup connectivity between external parties and with the firm and able to maintain FIX network relationship.
• Support analyst will be working closely with regional FIX teams in Hong Kong, Pune, New York, Japan, London and Sydney.

Requirements

• 6 - 8 years experience with 3 minimum of 3 - 5 years proficiency in FIX technology with good experience in FIX certification and FIX client on-boarding
• Proven experience in Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines
• Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX environment
• Excellent knowledge of SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA & DSA FIX environment
• 3-5 years of experience in a Broker / Dealer environment
• Good knowledge of exchange rules of Asian markets (HK/China CONNECT/JP/KR/SG/TW/AU/IN/ID)
• Good understanding of Trade Flow systems needed for DMA/DSA trade booking especially in ID markets like China Connect, Korea, Taiwan and India
• Good understanding of Order Management Systems like Fidessa, Flextrade etc
• Good understanding of Front end systems like Bloomberg, ITG etc
• Good exposure in FIX testing tools like VeriFIX
• Good exposure in FIX monitoring tools like KIBANA, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS, etc
• Good exposure in change & incident management tools like SNOW
• Must be self-starter and be able to work independently
• Willing to undertake other Trade Support functions
• Ready to work in Trading floor (high pressure environment)
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with Vendors and Traders
• FIX development skills (not mandatory but good to have)
• Rollout FIX projects individually
• Knowledge of SRE will be added advantage
