Job summary

Nityo Infotech is seeking a skilled FIX Connectivity Support Analyst to join the Global FIX connectivity team in Pune. You will handle FIX requests, perform testing and certifications, and coordinate with infra and regional FIX teams to maintain robust connectivity for High Touch, Low Touch, and derivative desks.

The role requires 6–8 years in FIX tech, 3–5 years on-boarding FIX clients, and strong communication in a high-pressure trading floor environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years experience in FIX technology with 3–5 years onboarding FIX clients.
• Proven experience with Cameron FIX or Appia engines.
• Strong knowledge of Cash Equity in DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX.
• Experience in SWAP, Futures & Options in FIX environment.
• 3–5 years in Broker/Dealer environment.
• Knowledge of Asian market exchange rules.
• Familiarity with Fidessa, Flextrade for order management.
• Exposure to FIX testing/monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Able to interact with vendors and traders effectively.
• Willing to take on other Trade Support functions.

Responsibilities

• Handle FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers, and exchanges and provide desk support.
• Perform FIX testing and certifications for FIX clients, vendors, brokers, and pools.
• Collaborate with infra teams to setup FIX connectivity between externals and the firm.
• Coordinate with regional FIX teams in HK, Pune, NY, Tokyo, London, and Sydney.

Job description

• 6 – 8 years experience with 3 minimum of 3 - 5 years proficiency in FIX technology with good experience in FIX certification and FIX client on-boarding
• Proven experience in Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines
• Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX environment
• Excellent knowledge of SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA & DSA FIX environment
• 3-5 years of experience in a Broker / Dealer environment
• Good knowledge of exchange rules of Asian markets
• Good understanding of Trade Flow systems needed for DMA/DSA trade booking especially in ID markets like China Connect, Korea, Taiwan and India
• Good understanding of Order Management Systems like Fidessa, Flextrade etc
• Good understanding of Front end systems like Bloomberg, ITG etc
• Good exposure in FIX testing tools like VeriFIX
• Good exposure in FIX monitoring tools like KIBANA, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS, etc
• Good exposure in change & incident management tools like SNOW
• Must be self-starter and be able to work independently
• Willing to undertake other Trade Support functions
• Ready to work in Trading floor (high pressure environment)
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with Vendors and Traders
• FIX development skills (not mandatory but good to have)
• Rollout FIX projects individually
• Knowledge of SRE will be added advantage

Technology skills:

• Knowledge in FIX protocol (FIX versions 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.4)
• Knowledge in FIX engines like Cameron, Appia
• Knowledge in Unix and Shell scripting
• Knowledge in FIX automated tools
• Awareness of SRE concepts is an added advantage

• Support Analyst will be part of the Global FIX connectivity team responsible for handling FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges.
• The duties include daily trading operations desk support for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk and F&O desk.
• The duties also include FIX testing & certifications of FIX clients, FIX vendors, FIX brokers, internal & external dark & lit pools & exchanges.
• The person should be able to understand & work with infra teams to setup connectivity between external parties and with the firm and able to maintain FIX network relationship.
• Support analyst will be working closely with regional FIX teams in Hong Kong, Pune, New York, Japan,London and Sydney.
