Job summary

Refex Industries is seeking an experienced MIS Coordinator with strong RMC industry knowledge to manage, consolidate and analyze data from multiple RMC plants across India.

You will collect data from various plants, ensure accuracy, prepare centralized MIS reports, track KPIs and provide timely insights to management for informed decision-making. Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel and Power BI, with the ability to coordinate with Plant Heads, Operations, Sales and Accounts, is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of MIS/Analytics experience in RMC is preferred.
• Experience with multiple plants across India is desirable.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI with data governance focus.

Responsibilities

• Pan-India RMC data consolidation from multiple plants.
• Prepare plant-wise and consolidated MIS reports (production, dispatch, sales, inventory).

Position: MIS Coordinator RMC
Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Pan India / Chennai
Reporting To: Head RMC / Business Head RMC

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced MIS Coordinator with strong RMC industry experience to manage, consolidate and analyze operational and business data from multiple RMC plants across India.

The role will be responsible for collecting data from various plants, ensuring data accuracy, preparing centralized MIS reports, tracking key business KPIs and providing timely insights to management for effective decision-making.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Pan-India RMC Data Consolidation

• Collect daily, weekly and monthly operational data from multiple RMC plants across India.
• Consolidate plant-wise data into centralized MIS formats.
• Coordinate with Plant Heads, Operations, Sales, Accounts, Dispatch and Logistics teams for timely data submission.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of data received from all plants.

2. RMC Operations MIS

• Prepare plant-wise and consolidated MIS covering:
  • Production
  • Dispatch
  • Sales
  • Billing
  • Raw material consumption
  • Cement / Fly Ash / Aggregates consumption
  • Inventory
  • Plant utilization
  • Vehicle movement and turnaround time
  • Concrete grades and volumes
  • Wastage / rejection
  • Customer/project-wise dispatch
  • Track actual performance against budgets and targets.

3. Sales & Commercial MIS

• Prepare customer-wise, project-wise and plant-wise sales reports.
• Track order booking, dispatch, billing and collections.
• Monitor realization, contribution and profitability across plants.
• Identify gaps between sales, dispatch and billing.

4. Raw Material & Inventory MIS

• Track plant-wise raw material stocks and consumption.
• Monitor cement, fly ash, aggregates, admixtures and other key materials.
• Prepare consumption and stock variance reports.
• Highlight abnormal consumption, shortages and inventory issues to management.

5. Daily Performance Reporting

• Publish daily RMC business dashboards and performance reports.
• Track plant-wise KPIs and highlight significant deviations.
• Prepare management dashboards for daily/weekly/monthly review meetings.
• Ensure MIS is circulated within defined timelines.

6. Data Analysis & Management Reporting

• Analyze trends, variances and plant performance.
• Provide meaningful insights rather than only compiling data.
• Develop dashboards and automated reports using Excel/Power BI.
• Support management in identifying operational and commercial improvement areas.

7. Process & Data Governance

• Standardize MIS formats across all RMC plants.
• Establish common data definitions and reporting structures.
• Maintain data integrity and version control.
• Follow up with plants for discrepancies and missing information.
• Continuously improve MIS processes and reporting efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4-6 years of experience in MIS / Business Analytics / Operations MIS, preferably within the RMC industry.
• Prior experience working with multiple RMC plants / locations is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of RMC operations, production, dispatch, sales and raw material consumption.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced MS Excel including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query, dashboards and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across Pan-India RMC plants.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Excellent follow-up, communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple reports simultaneously.
