Job summary

JSW Steel in India is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance In-Charge for Mines to lead HEMM maintenance, ensuring high equipment availability and safe operation. You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance, manage spares and lubricant inventory, monitor costs, and drive improvements while complying with safety and ISO standards.

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years mining/HEMM experience is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in mining/HEMM maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead HEMM maintenance activities and ensure equipment availability & reliability.
• Plan and execute preventive, breakdown and major component maintenance.
• Manage spares, lubricants and maintenance inventory.
• Monitor maintenance cost and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, ISO and company standards.
• Lead, train and develop the maintenance team.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and relevant authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintenance best practices.
