Job summary

2coms in Vizag is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager HEMM to manage maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery and heavy equipment with strong hands-on expertise.

Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning while leading a team and coordinating with site and corporate teams to meet reliability targets.

Qualifications

• B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering is mandatory.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in HEMM / Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
• Strong experience in Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of HEMM and heavy machinery.
• Handle maintenance of Excavators, Loaders, Dumpers, Crushers, EOT Cranes, HCVs, and similar equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Conduct breakdown analysis, RCA, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead maintenance teams and manage workshop/site maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, records, MIS, and reports.
• Coordinate with site and corporate teams to achieve maintenance and reliability targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
