Build Spring Boot microservices and deploy them on Microsoft Azure as a software engineering intern at one of the largest Azure engineering centres outside Redmond. Hyderabad + Bengaluru positions open for Summer 2026 (10-12 weeks).

Responsibilities

Contributing to Azure DevOps YAML pipelines: build, test, container scan, push to Azure Container Registry (ACR), deploy to a dev/staging slot of an Azure App Service. Owning a small feature end‑to‑end, from design doc to merge to production deploy, with mentorship from senior engineers. Participating in code reviews where your code is reviewed by 2-3 engineers and you review at least one peer's code per week. Attending engineering all‑hands, learning sessions, and weekly 1:1s with your mentor. Presenting your project to your team at the end of the internship. Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline — graduating in 2026 or 2027. Strong programming fundamentals in Java (Java 17+ preferred). Working knowledge of Spring Boot — autowiring, REST controllers, JPA/Hibernate basics, application.yml configuration. Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable). Comfort with Git, GitHub or Azure DevOps Repos, branching workflows. Bonus: Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900) certification, GitHub portfolio with at least one Spring Boot project, exposure to Docker/Kubernetes, prior internship or open‑source contributions. Legal and academic eligibility: you must be enrolled in an accredited Indian or recognised foreign university and present a no‑objection certificate from your institution for the internship period.
