Job summary

Diva Exports in Mumbai, India is seeking a merchandising professional to oversee end-to-end product development for home furnishings. You will coordinate CADs, samples, and approvals with designers and production teams to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of fabrics and embroidery, and the ability to manage multiple orders and timelines with a team. This is a hands-on merchandising position with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Home Furnishings or related sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and buyer coordination.
• Understanding of product development cycles and sampling processes.
• Knowledge of fabrics, printing, dyeing, and embroidery techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and strict timelines simultaneously.
• Experience in leading a merchandising or production team.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day communication with buyers and buying agencies.
• Coordinate with designers for CADs, product development, revisions, and approvals.
• Manage sample development and coordinate with production centres.
• Coordinate with sourcing, PPC, vendors, and karigars for various activities.
• Prepare SPOs, quotations, costing sheets, and product PPTs.
• Monitor & coordinate with production, testing, packaging, finishing, and timely dispatch.
• Maintain trackers & sheets for smooth execution and effectiveness.
• Manage team activities and ensure smooth execution of merchandising work.
