Job summary

HiLITE Group, headquartered in Kozhikode, Kerala, seeks an MEP design engineer to prepare detailed MEP drawings and coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems for large projects. You will perform load calculations and develop BOQs while ensuring design quality across disciplines.

Applicants should have 3–8 years of practical experience on high-rise or major commercial sites, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and BIM tools and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Firefighting systems.
• Ability to read and understand MEP drawings.
• 3–8 years of experience on high-rise or large commercial sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP design drawings, layouts, schematics and technical documentation.
• Design and coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Perform load, electrical, hydraulic and pipe sizing calculations as applicable.
• Develop and review BOQs, specifications, equipment schedules and design reports.
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
• Identify and resolve design clashes using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM or similar tools.
• Review drawings, technical submittals and contractor proposals.
• Provide technical support to project or site teams during execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP design drawings, layouts, schematics and technical documentation.


• Design and coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems.


• Preform HVAC load, electrical load, hydraulic, pipe sizing, and equipment -sizing calculations as applicable.


• Develop and review BOQ'S , specifications, equipment schedules and design reports.


• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural and other engineering disciplines.


• Identify and resolve design clashes using auto cad, Revit MEP,BIM or similar tools.


• Review drawings, technical submittals and contractor proposal.
